The Application of Oxidized Polyethylene Wax in PVC Profiles.
For PVC profile manufacturers, a bright and smooth product appearance is an important way to open up sales. However, the relatively complex product appearance of profiles adds some difficulty to production. A suitable lubricant not only helps to achieve a smooth and flat product appearance, but also improves glossiness and promotes product demoulding.
Qihong oxidized polyethylene wax is a suitable lubricant in PVC profile formulations. Whether in lead salt, calcium-zinc, or organotin stabilizer systems, appropriate addition of oxidized polyethylene wax can achieve the following functions:
Excellent and long-lasting lubrication performance.
Promote mold release and endow products with a complete and bright structure.
Oxidized polyethylene wax contains functional groups (carboxyl and hydroxyl) that can improve melting compatibility with PVC, and has good compatibility with PVC. During the extrusion process, oxidized wax can provide efficient internal and external lubrication.
Low viscosity, low surface attraction, good spreadability at the interface, and easy formation of an interfacial layer.
Fully oxidized, with good thermal stability, not easy to decompose during processing, not easy to react with other additives, and will not affect the performance of other additives.
Non-corrosive and will not cause damage to equipment.
High melting point oxidized wax, according to the dosage recommended by engineers, will not migrate or precipitate.
