Engineering Plastic Processing

Polyethylene wax is an additive. During the processing of engineering plastics, adding polyethylene wax can reduce energy consumption and processing temperature in the extrusion process of engineering plastics. It can also improve the dispersion of pigments in resins, thereby increasing the crystallization rate of polyester materials and shortening the cycle time in injection molding.

Polyethylene wax plays multiple roles in engineering plastic processing and is widely used in engineering plastic industries such as PC, PA (nylon), POM, PET, and PPS.

Polyethylene wax plays an important role in modified nylon. It can significantly improve the demoldability, fluidity, lubricity, and surface gloss of products; at the same time, it can improve the floating fiber phenomenon of glass fibers.

Polyethylene wax exhibits cold resistance, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and wear resistance.

It can be directly added to polyolefin processing, endowing products with high gloss and processing performance. It improves the processability of engineering plastics, enhances product surface gloss and mold release properties, while preventing migration.
