The Wonderful Combination of Qihong Oxidized Polyethylene Wax and Road Marking Coatings
Oxidized polyethylene wax, as an auxiliary material for road marking coatings, is used to adjust the performance of road marking coatings. It features high melting point, high hardness, crack resistance, dust resistance, wear resistance, and scratch resistance. It shortens the non-stick tire time of road marking coatings to improve traffic efficiency, and forms an anti-fouling layer on the surface after coating curing to maintain the clean original color of the markings. Oxidized polyethylene wax products have excellent fluidity, which can enhance the toughness, adhesion, anti-fouling property, compressive strength, and anti-slip ability of road marking coatings.

Qihong Oxidized Polyethylene Wax T-4017 is mainly used in hot-melt road marking coatings, with the following characteristics:
(1) High softening point, which can improve the heat resistance of road marking coatings; low viscosity, which can adjust and improve leveling property and flowability, ensuring good constructability and enhancing construction efficiency.
(2) Wear resistance, scratch resistance, and abrasion resistance: The wax is distributed in the coating film to protect it, prevent scratches and abrasions, and provide wear resistance.
(3) Control of friction coefficient: Its low friction coefficient is usually utilized to provide excellent slipperiness to the coating film, and different types of wax also impart a special soft silky touch.
(4) Chemical resistance: Due to the stability of the wax, it can endow the coating film with better water resistance, salt spray resistance, and other properties.
(5) Prevention of sticking: Avoids re-adhesion and sticking of coated or printed objects.
(6) Control of glossiness: By selecting appropriate models and adjusting the addition amount, different matting or gloss-increasing effects can be achieved, resulting in a good three-dimensional appearance.
(7) Prevents hardening and deposition of auxiliary materials such as silica, improving the storage stability of the coating.
(8) Particularly recommended for oscillating line road marking paints, with excellent wetting and dispersing effects on titanium dioxide particles.

This product is packed in plastic woven bags, 25kg per bag. It should be stored away from light and moisture, with a recommended addition amount of 1%-2%.
