Product Launch—Oxidized Polyethylene Wax H-3330
Qihong H-3330 High-Density Oxidized Polyethylene Wax undergoes moderate oxidation to generate carboxyl groups and other emulsifiable functional groups, enabling excellent emulsification. It is suitable for water-based coatings, inks, overprint varnishes, and can also be used to produce high-performance carbon anti-settling wax pastes, textile lubricants (for materials like denim), printing pastes, wax emulsions, floor polishing waxes, fruit preservation coatings, and gloss oils.
By reducing the coefficient of friction, it improves surface properties including scratch resistance and wear resistance. In textiles, it helps enhance sewability and fabric cutting performance, prolonging the service life of cutting machines. It also provides heat resistance for hot-melt adhesives (HMA).
Features:
- Used in water-based inks and coatings to provide anti-blocking, scratch resistance, stain resistance, and abrasion resistance.
- With an acid value of 30, it can be easily emulsified in water and is suitable for producing wax emulsions.
- Applied in the post-finishing of printing and garment industries, it improves fabric softness, excellent wear resistance, and toughness.
- Provides heat resistance for hot-melt adhesives (HMA).

As is well known, wax emulsions have a very wide range of applications. H-3330 has unique emulsifying properties. When using this product to prepare wax emulsions, it features simple equipment, mature technology, simple operation, high efficiency, and significantly saves the dosage. When producing wax emulsions, commonly used methods include: the emulsifier-in-water method, which directly dissolves the emulsifier in water and dissolves the wax in water under vigorous stirring; the emulsifier-in-oil method, which dissolves the emulsifier in wax and then directly adds water to the mixture or the mixture to water; alternate liquid addition method, which alternately adds water and wax to the emulsifier, only a small amount each time; the phase inversion temperature emulsification method, etc. Commonly used emulsification equipment includes colloid mills, homogenizers, high-frequency oscillators, ultrasonic emulsifiers, etc.
Advantages:
(1) No need for heating and melting or dissolving in certain solvents during use;
(2) Stable performance, uniform film formation, good coverage, and easy to mix and use with aqueous solutions or emulsions of other substances;
(3) Small particle size, stable emulsion, and good use effect;
(4) Non-toxic, non-corrosive, simple production process, easy to store, convenient to use, and favorable price.
Applications:
The wax emulsion prepared with this product is widely used in papermaking, textiles, casting, water-based coatings, water-based inks, glazing agents, etc. In the wood-based panel industry, it can completely replace paraffin as a waterproof and moisture-proof additive. In the textile industry, it is mainly used as a softener and sizing aid, and in agriculture, it is used as a preservative for fruits and vegetables.
