Application advantages of oxidized polyethylene wax in road marking coatings
Oxidized polyethylene wax, as an oscillation additive material for road marking coatings, has the ability to adjust the performance of road marking coatings.
Due to its excellent fluidity, oxidized polyethylene wax products can enhance the toughness, adhesion, anti-fouling property, compressive strength, and anti-slip ability of road marking coatings. They also feature high melting point, high hardness, no cracking, no dust adhesion, wear resistance, and scratch resistance. Additionally, they can shorten the non-stick time of road marking coatings to improve traffic efficiency, and form an anti-fouling layer on the surface after coating curing to maintain the clean color of the marking.
Application Advantages:
1. High softening point improves the heat resistance of road marking coatings; low viscosity adjusts and enhances leveling and flow properties, facilitating construction and improving construction efficiency.2. Wear, scratch, and abrasion resistance: Wax distributes within the coating film to protect it, preventing scratches, abrasions, and providing wear resistance.
3. Friction coefficient control: Its low friction coefficient provides excellent coating smoothness, with different wax types offering a special soft silk-like texture.
4. Chemical resistance: The stability of wax endows the coating with better water resistance, salt spray resistance, and other chemical resistance properties.
5. Anti-adhesion: Prevents re-adhesion or sticking of coated or printed surfaces.
6. Gloss control: Selecting appropriate models and adjusting addition levels achieves varying matting or gloss-enhancing effects, resulting in a strong three-dimensional appearance.
7. Prevents hardening and sedimentation of auxiliary materials like silica, enhancing coating storage stability.
8. Particularly recommended for oscillating line road marking paints, with excellent wetting and dispersing effects on titanium dioxide particles.
